A Remote Carrier Synchronization Technique for Coherent Distributed Remote Sensing Systems

Phase, frequency, and time synchronization are crucial requirements for many applications, such as multistatic remote sensing communication systems. Moreover, the solution becomes even more challenging when nodes orbiting or flying on airborne spaceborne platforms. This article compares available technologies used coordination of in distributed applications. Additionally, this proposes a general system model identifies preliminary guidelines critical elements implementing mechanisms exploiting intersatellite link. The phase loop introduced work deals with self-interference full-duplex point to scenario by transmitting two carriers at each node.
